You should apply for SDVOBE certification for your company. There are two certification options available:

  • Through the U.S. Business Leadership Network. The option is free of charge for Massachusetts-based businesses, but fees will apply to companies from other states. To start the process, please send a quick email to Cami Turcotte, USBLN's Disability Supplier Diversity Program Coordinator, at cami@usbln.org. Tell Cami you are interested in SDVOBE certification and being recognized as an SDVOBE by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and she will help you with both.   • Through VetBiz/U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. This option is free of charge for all companies, but usually takes longer. To start the process, you have to Register on the VetBiz Vendor Information Pages (VIP). More information about the process is available on the VetBiz Main Page or by contacting the VA Center for Verification and Evaluation Help Desk at 866-584-2344 or VIP@VA.GOV. Once your company is certified by VetBiz, please complete the Application for Verification form, attach the VetBiz certification letter and email both documents to webmaster.sdo@mass.gov.

Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Business Enterprise (LGBTBE) Certification


You have indicated that your company is certified as an LGBTBE by the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC).

You should apply for LGBTBE certification for your company. This certification is administered by the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) and is free for Massachusetts-based businesses. To become certified and be recognized by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, apply for LGBTBE certification by following the instructions on the NGLCC's Get Certified webpage. On your application, you will be asked if you would like NGLCC's public partners, including the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, to be notified of your certification.

Disability Owned Business Enterprise (DOBE) Certification
